Our story

Pure halal, without compromise, since 2003

Albadia was founded in 2003 with one pledge: to produce and offer high quality halal meat and poultry. A few years later we moved to our high-tech plant on Ripple Road, where we worked hard to meet every standard the halal market requires.

Through the years we built a strong supply chain of higher quality, free-range halal meat and poultry, alongside our own certified halal burgers, sausages and nuggets. Our goal has always been the same: that every customer can enjoy pure halal meat without any doubt.

Our dry aged beef comes from some of the country’s finest breeds: high-grade steers and heifers only. Dry ageing deepens the flavour and makes the meat more tender than anything you’ve had before.

Our minimum age

Flavour depends on the cut, whether the animal was grass or grain fed, and the temperature and humidity of the ageing room. At Albadia we have them all, for every taste.

For over 60 years we have been rearing beef cattle and lambs on our farm, with the same ethos of sustainable, high-welfare production. Our Belted Galloway cattle graze herb-rich pastures all year round, which gives the beef a fuller flavour, and our lambs grow naturally on the rolling hills.
